Since 1985, Ful-line Auto Repair has been a trusted name in South Windsor, providing quality auto repairs and dependable used vehicles. History of Growth:

1980s – Laying the Foundation

1985: While Back to the Future became a global phenomenon and Live Aid raised millions for famine relief, Dave Bombeto turned his dream into reality, opening Ful-line Auto Repair. Ful-line Auto was founded in East Hartford, with a vision of bringing honesty and reliability to the auto repair industry.

1986: The business moved to South Windsor, expanding into a four-bay operation to better serve our growing customer base.

1990s – Expanding Services and Earning Trust

1995: Recognizing the need for a trustworthy source of used vehicles, we expanded our services to include auto sales. Our no-pressure approach and dedication to quality quickly made us a preferred choice for customers seeking reliable vehicles.

1999: With a strong reputation for integrity, Ful-line Auto Repair became a well-established and respected business in the community.

2000s – Growth and New Ownership

2001: Dave purchased the building from South Windsor Auto Body, allowing for further expansion and improvements in both repair and sales services.

2006: We refined our used vehicle selection, focusing on reliable, high-quality models at fair prices, offering an affordable alternative to new car dealerships.

2010s – A New Chapter

2012: To reflect our continued growth, we upgraded our dealer license and rebranded as Ful-line Auto LLC, enhancing our ability to provide quality vehicles while maintaining our trusted repair services.

Throughout the decade, we remained committed to our values, fostering customer relationships through honesty, transparent pricing, and a customer-first approach.

2015: The dealership became solely family owned. Dave’s children became an integral part of the business ventures, with his daughter running office operations, and his son participating in lot and buying activity.

2020s – Marking 40 Years of Service

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2025, we remain dedicated to offering dependable vehicles, fair pricing, and repairs with integrity. Our customers continue to rely on us because we prioritize their needs, maintain high standards of service, and always act with honesty and care.
